Steven served for 10 years in the United States Marine Corps. His service took him to bases on the east and west coasts, Hawaii, and Japan. During his service, he met and married Kimberly Woods, the sister of fellow Marine and friend, the late Orie Woods. He enjoyed positions in the transportation, boating, and real estate fields. Steven was an active parent at W.J. Carroll Intermediate School, Daphne East Elementary School, and he coached girl’s soccer at Daphne High School.
