Bradley Christopher Jones was a water baby his entire life. He narrowly missed being born at Priest Lake, Idaho, on August 4, 1968. From the very beginning, he was happiest on or near the water—boating, water skiing, spending time at the beach, or watching the sunrise over the lake. On July 23, 2025, Brad passed away at one of his favorite places: McCall, Idaho.

He graduated from Meridian High School in 1987, where he excelled in pole vault and basketball. Brad also attended Boise State University. His lifelong passion for sports included water skiing and snow skiing. In his younger years, Brad worked alongside his dad in construction and as a bartender at The Cactus Bar and Murphy’s in Boise. He later pursued a successful career in sales, working as an Account Manager at Micron Computer/Electronics from 1994 to 2001, a Sales Executive at Precision Craft Log Structures in 2001, and ultimately found his calling as an Account Executive at ConvergeOne/S1 IT Solutions/SourceOne, where he worked from 2004 until 2023.

On January 30, 2003, Brad married his long-time girlfriend and love, Chelsea Hanks, in a beautiful beach ceremony in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Together, they built a wonderful life, and their greatest blessing, their daughter Taylor Adair Jones, was born on January 8, 2007. Taylor—his “Pistol Pete”—was truly the light of his life.

Brad was the third of four children born to Tom and Connie Jones in Spokane, Washington. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Jones, who passed away in 1981. He is survived by his wife, Chelsea Jones, and their daughter, Taylor Jones, both of Boise, Idaho. He is also survived by his parents, who currently reside in McCall, and his siblings, Lori Apodaca of Eagle, Idaho, and Bart Jones of Orofino, Idaho.

Throughout his life, Brad deeply valued his friendships and cultivated long-lasting, meaningful relationships. To remember and celebrate his life, his parents are planning a gathering of friends and family to be held at a later date.
