Daniel Bruce Braseth

Daniel Bruce Braseth, 65, of Cascade, Idaho, died in his home Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Cascade. He was born December 22, 1952 in Moorhead, Minn. to Bruce Robinson Braseth and Fern Loraine (Dufseth) Braseth.
Daniel served his country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard during the 1970's. Dan lived some of his adult life in Seattle, Wash., and Boise, Idaho; but he was a longtime resident of Cascade, his beloved mountain home. Dan spent his time on wood carving projects, anything from spoons of many sizes to ornate walking sticks.
Dan is preceded in death by his father, Bruce. He is survived by his mother Fern, three sisters, Jennifer Jones of Liberty Lake, Wash., Sonja (Pat) Dainard of Oroville, Wash., Chris (Robert) Gallo of Stockbridge, Georgia and three brothers, Bill (Sandra) of Boise, Idaho, Bruce (Pam) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Tim (Lori) of Boise, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Cottonwood Cemetery, Cottonwood, Idaho.
