Dena Gale (Lucker) Lucker

Dena (Nadine) Gale Fortin Lucker went home to the Lord after a long, hard battle with an illness.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.  Dena was born to Dale and Mickey Fortin July 5th, 1946 in Council, Idaho.  She spent the first six years of her life living in Browns Logging Camp on the South Fork.   In 1952 they moved to McCall so Dena could attend the Lardo School.  She graduated from McCall-Donnelly High School in 1964 and that following Halloween married Ken Lucker and resided in Council.  Dena and Ken were blessed with the birth of their daughter Wendy Sue in 1965.  In 1969 they moved to New Meadows where Dena lived for the remainder of her life. She loved Meadows Valley and its people very much.  Dena is survived by lots of loving friends and family.  She will be greatly missed by all.  A celebration of Dena’s life will be held this Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2 pm at the Meadows Valley School gym.  A dinner will follow at the New Meadows Senior Center.  Please come and celebrate her wonderful life with us.
