Jeffrey “Kep” Morris Adams, 62, of McCall, Idaho, took his final breath and entered into the arms of his savior, in the early morning hours of August 22, 2025.

Kep was born on December 14, 1962 in California, and shortly after his birth, was adopted by his loving mother Violet Jo Ann Adams, and her husband Joseph Adams Sr. His family moved him at a young age to Colorado where he spent the majority of his youth, before returning to California as a young adult. There he met the mother of his children, whom he was married to for 11 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Shauna Shepherd, and sons, Jeffrey & Alex Adams; as well as his grandchildren: Kenzie, Kai, Kam, Forest, Avia, Atlas, Blake, Raelyn and Cult, as well as his older brother Joseph, and his many friends.

He is reunited in eternity with his mother Violet JoAnn Adams, his grandson Kingston Isaiah, and his dearest friend and love of his life, Marcie Kuchta who passed away earlier this year.

Throughout his life, Kep was known for his passionate love of music; which included guitar playing & collecting, song-writing, attending live concerts and collecting dozens of albums, CDs and various memorabilia, photography and sports - particularly the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He also enjoyed adult cartoons & video games in his spare time. Kep worked for many years in aerospace engineering and was brilliant at his job, excelling to successful positions of leadership and obtaining many certificates of completion and accomplishment.

He was a heavily involved and active father who frequently brought his children along to explore the outdoors on road trips and hikes. He instilled his love of music by teaching them guitar, attending concerts together and encouraging them in their own passions and interests.

He attended Mass most of his life. He became deeply passionate about Christ in recent years; digging into scripture and displaying a transformed character as one would expect from a follower of Jesus.

His days were spent reading scripture, playing his guitar, listening to music, walking around McCall and socializing with the community, talking to and visiting with his children and grandchildren. He was never without his best friend by his side, his blind golden lab, Cookie; his loyal companion for the past 15 years. Cookie passed away just 5 days after her beloved owner. They will be laid to rest side by side at the McCall Cemetary.
