Mi Suk Mussman, 63, of New Meadows, Idaho, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

A visitation for immediate family will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at McCall Funeral Home.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at First Congregational Church in Mountain Home, Idaho on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Paul VanAntwerp will be officiating at the memorial service. Mi Suk’s final resting place will be at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, IL.

Mi Suk was born in South Korea on June 1, 1957. She graduated from high school before moving to the United States after she was married. Mi Suk married Michael Mussman, retired US Air Force TSgt, on May 16, 1978; they were married for 42 years. Mi Suk became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America on January 18, 1985.

Mi Suk was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was a homemaker, entrepreneur, gardener, collector, and cook. Mi Suk was an avid fisher and enjoyed gathering huckleberries and mushrooms in the mountains. But most of all, she loved being a grandma to her five grandsons.

Mi Suk is survived by her husband, Mike and her three children: Royce Mussman, Kevin Mussman, and Sarah Hendricks. She was preceded in death by her father, Sang Chol Yi, and her mother, Yang Sun Yi. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lawrence Mussman, and is survived by her mother-in-law, Idelette Mussman. Mi Suk and Mike’s five grandsons are Carter Mussman, Luke Mussman, Christian Hendricks, Isaiah Hendricks, and Cooper Hendricks. Finally, Mi Suk is survived by a large extended family of sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews in both South Korea and in the United States.
