Robert Edmund Coski, 48, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on November 20, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on July 20, 1976, to David and Kay Coski, Rob was raised in Donnelly, Idaho, where he formed lifelong friendships and embraced a love for the great outdoors.

He attended McCall-Donnelly schools throughout his youth, graduating in 1994.

Rob found his calling in construction, becoming a highly skilled front-end loader operator for more than two decades with Kessler Construction, Knife River, and Granite Construction. His dedication and pride in his work earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends.

Outside of work, Rob’s life was filled with vibrant passions. He loved waterskiing, snow skiing, and fishing trips with family, coworkers, and friends, which became cherished memories. An avid sports fan, Rob rooted enthusiastically for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Boise State Broncos and recently discovered a love for cheering on the Boise Steelheads at hockey games.

Rob also had a special gift for bringing people together. His barbecues and family gatherings were famous for good food, hearty laughter, and the warmth of his generous spirit. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.

Rob’s deep faith in the Lord guided him throughout his life. He treasured his close circle of friends and family, finding strength and purpose in those relationships.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Bella Kay Coski; his stepchildren, Brayden and Eslee Collins; his parents, David and Kay Coski; his brother, Michael Coski; and his soulmate and love, Halie Vasil. He is also fondly remembered by his former wife, Jenaye Collins, and a large extended

family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rob’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Rob’s life will be held on December 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Donnelly Bible Church, 167 F.W. Gestrin, Donnelly, ID 83615. It will be followed by a second service at Ten Mile Christian Church, 3500 W. Franklin Rd., Meridian, ID 83642, on Friday, December 13th, at 3:00

p.m.
