Roberta Genice Madison

Roberta Genice Madison passed away peacefully at her home in Meadows Valley on March 24, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born in Indian Valley, Idaho on October 4, 1933 to Oliver and Ida Skeen.

They moved to Payette where she grew up. She married Lowell Madison and had three children – Michelle, Melanie and Mark, which resulted in her loving grandchildren Jessica, Scott, Misty and Michael and her adored great-grandchildren Jadyn, John, Layne, Shane, Liz and Lowell – each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lowell with whom she shared a long and loving marriage; five sisters and two brothers.

Mom was an avid gardener and canned her bounty. She loved her flowers. She was a generous person who cared about the world around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all.

We will gather to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 3rd at 2 p.m. for a Graveside Service in Meadows Valley Cemetery, followed by a potluck dinner at the New Meadows Community Center.
