Robert "Bob" Francis Pair, Sr.11/14/2021

Robert Francis Pair Sr., 81, of Cascade, Idaho, died November 14, 2021.  Robert was born March 4, 1940 in Glendale, CA to Frank (Dud) and Jeanne Pair.  Robert “Bob” graduated in 1959 from Verdugo High School in Tujunga, California. Throughout high school Bob competed in gymnastics and enjoyed being in the pool with his girlfriend Beverly. In 1975, Bob moved to Cascade, ID with his loving wife Beverly and their two children, Robert Jr., and Cheryl. Prior to moving to Cascade, he took pride in working for Sears and taking care of his family. Bob and Beverly had been together for 67 years and married for 61 years in August of this year. In 1972, Bob came to Cascade on a hunting trip with his friend Ray. In 1975, Bob and Beverly, his son and daughter, and a close friend built his log house that Beverly still lives in today. Throughout his time in Cascade, Bob enjoyed upkeeping his 5-acre lawn and doing woodwork in his garage. He also found pleasure in hunting, fishing, gardening, and canoeing the rivers in Idaho. Bob started working as an electrician in 1975. He spent 10 years with Cascade Electric until he started his job with the Cascade School District. In 1985, Bob started working at the school as a maintenance supervisor and custodian where students and other staff new him to be a handy, hard-working man. He retired in 2005, when his son took over his job at Cascade Schools. After retirement, Bob took pride in traveling across the country watching his three grandkids embark on their journeys and compete in football, judo, and wrestling.

He is survived by his wife Beverly, two children Robert Jr. and Cheryl Reininger, daughter in-law Cynthia Pair, son in-law Chad Reininger, his sister Sande Pomeroy, and three grandchildren Robert Pair III, Amber Pair, and Greg Reininger. Beverly, Robert Jr. Cynthia, Sande, Robert III, and Amber reside in Idaho and Chad, Cheryl and Greg reside in Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frank and Jeanne.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date.  Time, location and Date will be announced when scheduled.
