Sheryl Lynne Stewart

July 16, 1959 – November 26, 2021

      A free spirit and kind soul, Sheryl Stewart left this world suddenly on November 26th at the age of 61. 

     Sheryl's love for life didn’t end with her death. Her fiery spirit lives on through her children Misty Davis and Zack Deckard, grandchildren Vivienne Henderson, Collett Adams, Tristen Adams, Savannah Clark, Samantha Davis, Kevin Deckard, Natalie K, Zaylee Deckard, and great-grandchildren Rhett Dittman and Dalton Clark.

     Sheryl lived life based on her own terms. She was wild, carefree, and in tune with herself and nature. Sheryl worked as a caregiver, in hospitality, and as a caretaker of Burgdorf hot springs. Sheryl lived a life that allowed her to be connected with earth, people, animals, and plants. She craved connection with everyone and everything. This woman had so much love and laughter to give.

     She was a collector of many things: pinecones, feathers, rocks, crystals, etc. One time she had a slew of these types of things on a table in her room and it turned out she had "collected" a hobo spider, too! She was a different kind of gentle woman. She was a woman who would rather pick that spider up and move it to another location than stomp on it twelve times. Another testament to her love of nature was how, many times, bears visited her camper in the mountains, and she refused to move to a new location. She’d rather co-exist with BEARS! She was so courageous.  This woman was not afraid of anything - not even death. She was a true believer in God. She lived life knowing God would guide her, take care of her, and come get her when he was ready for her.
